Established in 1996, the Theodore and Chandos Rice Foundation provides assistance and support to individuals and organizations, projects, programs and studies committed to one or more of its goals:
helping families
Helping families, single parents, and children become self-sufficient, contributing members of society through education and training.

assisting seniors
Assisting seniors in obtaining meaningful and dignified living opportunities.

eliminating intolerance
Eliminating intolerance, discrimination, and prejudice from our society.

The Rices were remarkable people, showing warm, personal kindness and respect for others. They found time to be nonstop "doers", and even more time to give to others... to encourage all whose lives they touched. They demonstrated their care by listening, by celebrating the accomplishments of others, and by expressing their wonder at the marvel of human potential. The Theodore and Chandos Rice Charitable Foundation is a reflection of the lifelong commitment and values of the Rices.

The Rices believed in working to make this world a better place, a place where people can realize their potential and reach for their dreams. The Theodore and Chandos Rice Foundation maintains and extends their legacy.
